Several times in my life, I've been blessed to have business trips to Canada. The Canadian provinces and cities visited to date are Ottawa in Ontario and MOntreal and Quebec City in Quebec. The Canadians I've encountered on these trips have always been very friendly, hospitable people. If one tries the least little bit to speak to the French Canadians in even the most basic attempt at French, they are usually quite accomodating to those not fluent in French. In addition to the great people, Canada has some absolutely awe-inspiring architecture quite often in historic places like Parliament or the historical districts. One of my dream trips would be to travel across Canada from BC to Nova Scotia (or vice versa) in the summertime. Doing so by rail and stopping off wherever seemed appealing would be a most enjoyable trip, I would think.
