In 2003 - while cruise prices were still really low from 9/11/01 - my dad & I took 1 last father-son adventure & went on a caribbean cruise together. Our cruise ship departed San Juan, PR & visited St Thomas USVI, Basseterre St Kitts, St George's Grenada & Oranjestad Aruba. (We WERE supposed to visit Caracas, Venezuela, but there had been a coup attempt earlier in the year, so we were denied our ability to set foot on South America on this cruise.) We spent 7 days aboard the ship and it was awesome!
